Writer submission guidelines:
Coat of Arms Comics is always looking for new talent. Any writer that wishes to send us a submission is free to do so however we have guide lines that must be followed.
1 – Coat of Arms Comics will only look at short stories that are written by the submitter.
2 – Please do not send us your original comic book concept idea.
3 – No submission can be made using Coat of Arms Comics characters.
4 – Coat of Arms Comics will contact the writer within 30 days of the submission, ONLY IF they are interested in the writing style of the author. At that point the author will be asked to sign a Non-disclosure agreement, allowing Coat of Arms Comics and the author to talk about the author’s original comic book ideas.
Artist’s submission guidelines (covering both Pencils and Inking):
Coat of Arms Comics is constantly looking for new artists to work on upcoming projects. For any artist submission the artist must follow the following guidelines.
1 – Coat of Arms Comics will only look at artwork that uses the comic book format.
2 – Please do not send original designs (Feel free to send us any artwork of established comic characters).
3 – Please send at least three continuous panels of sequential artwork featuring the interactions of at least two characters.
4 – (This rule is for Inkers only) Coat of Arms comics would like to see a version of the original pencils of any inked work so we can see the skill level of the inker.
5 – Coat of Arms Comics will contact the artist within 30 days of the submission, ONLY IF they are interested in the artistic style of the artist. At that point the artist will be asked to sign a Non-disclosure agreement allowing Coat of Arms Comics and the artist to talk about any original comic book ideas or projects that Coat of Arms Comics may be looking for an artist for.
